Good, lots of levels and takes a while to get through each one. If you time out the bow and arrow person falls from the balcony. Has three levels of games using words and three games that target different rows on the keyboard.
http://www.kidztype.com/car-rider_fab35d3a8.html **
Three levels and very quick to go through each game, each level increases the word by one letter – probably would not hold the kids attention long….just cars going in front of each other. If you time out the car runs out of gas.

Very colorful. Zombies approaching a Ninja with different weapons and she is throwing things at them. Three levels each one adding a letter to words, plus three games targeting the keyboard rows. If you time out the Ninja falls over and I assume she dies.

http://www.kidztype.com/typeroids-top-row-mission_6562750ba.html **
Given a mission like bottom rows for the top tyeroids site and top row for the second site given. You are not given a choice of where to start. It does not use words. It has five levels. No consequence for timing out.
http://www.kidztype.com/bull-spell_c3be8f9d3.html ***
Four bulls are in a race and you choose which bull you are. Then after the race starts the faster you type the faster the bull goes. The races are 2 minutes each. The winner is awarded a ribbon. It goes from Grade 1 to 8 with more challenging words in the higher grades, but even in grade one the words varied from one letter to 7 or 8. Fun.
* http://www.kidztype.com/glider-cats_ce8b91b16.html ***
Uses same words as other games. Has eight levels based on the number of letters you select. You chose your glider color and type the words to get your plane into the lead.
http://www.kidztype.com/keyboard-booster-rows_7e1a42f4a.html ****
More challenging but does not use words and uses more punctuation. A gunman gets hit with bombs or rockets if you do not get the letter sequence in time. You earn points as you play. Four game option based on keyboard rows or whole keyboard.

Same as the two games below but does not use words. See notes on skychasewords site.
http://www.kidztype.com/owl-planes-long-words_bd90d84dd.html **
Both games are similar although the owl game starts out with fewer letters in the words. See notes below.
http://www.kidztype.com/sky-chase-words_f0ca5ba2d.html **
Challenging, uses long words.
The above three games can be played by one person. Chose a bird and join the race. The results show your typing accuracy and rate in words per minute. It also shows how long it took to finish the race and assigns a winner. No levels given. Good game for students who think they can type.

Much as I like this one it did not give any feedback. Each letter is an apple and you have to type the apple letter before it hits the ground. Four hits and you are out and it gives you the number of apples that you shot down. It would be very good for the special needs students as it is one letter at a time but there is no way to adjust the speed.

A monkey needs to go up into space and he jumps on to different objects as the student types the letter on that object. It records his elevation and if you miss a letter it goes back to the beginning of the level you were on. Slower pace.
* http://www.tvokids.com/games/keyboardclimber2 ***
Same as above but uses upper and lower case letters.
http://www.freetypinggame.net/play14.asp ****
Driving a car in the desert and you must type the words or letters in order to pass the next car. If you do not do it fast enough you have an accident and after five accidents your game is over. You are given a score that you can place on a scoreboard. You also have five jumps using the space bar. Challenging but fun!
http://www.freetypinggame.net/play1.asp ****
As the words fall from the sky you type them out, any missed words will wipe out one of the twelve boats in the race if it hits it. You are given a score based on your success and that score can be saved.
http://www.freetypinggame.net/play9.asp ****
Very challenging. 20 Pacman-type figures are shown. A row is changed to words and as you type the words. The one above is shown. You have to type fast before the characters move off the screen. You are given a score based on your success at each level. The score can be saved to a scoreboard.
http://www.freetypinggame.net/play13.asp ****
Same as above but it is Martians taking out buildings if you do not type the words fast enough. You can chose which part of the keyboard to work with.
http://www.freetypinggame.net/play2.asp ****
Same as above but you have words attacking space ships spinning them around, but if it is a direct hit the ship explodes.
